How to Care for Your Tallula Recliner

Life happens, and sometimes your furniture needs a good clean and refresh. Follow our guide below to learn how to properly care for and clean your Tallula Recliner.

Liquid Spills

For liquid spills including wine, coffee, milk, soda, beer, urine, tea, or juices, start with a clean, dry, absorbent cloth to blot up as much of the liquid as possible. Then, follow up with a liquid detergent (1 tbsp.) and lukewarm water (16 oz.) mixture, and dab with a clean, damp cloth.

Check out this video showing us cleaning up a coffee spill with nothing but a paper towel! The fabric shown has the same protection as Tallula.

Non-Liquid Spills

For non-liquid spills including ketchup, salsa, chocolate, ice cream, jelly, magic marker, pizza sauce, nacho cheese, or dirt/mud, use a soft brush or butter knife to remove the excess contaminants, then mix up a batch of lukewarm water (16 oz.) and liquid detergent (1 tbsp.), blot it with a dampened cloth, and rinse out the residual soap with a clean, damp cloth.

Stubborn Stains

Not all stains are created equal. In some cases of set-in spills, or those that have been rubbed into the fabric, you might need to seek the help of a professional cleaning service.

Make sure to give the cleaner the fabric code correlated with your products so they can follow the guidelines for spot cleaning. Tallula uses cleaning code W.
